Which BNHA Character Are You?
You are Shoto!
Shoto originally had a cold and distant personality that was the result of his abusive education. Focused and emotionless, Shoto preferred to be alone rather than hanging out with other people. However, Shoto became noticeably more sociable, he even gained a sense of humor and sometimes smiles, although retaining the remnants of a distant attitude.
You are Tenya!
Although he may seem extremely severe at first, Tenya turns out to be only a serious student who wants to keep order as much as possible. He has a very great sense of responsibility, preferring to stay at the side of his class as a delegate in spite of the danger they are in. In spite of his benevolence, a feeling of revenge was born in him when he learned that his older brother was wounded by Stain, the Hero Killer, and that he had to stop his profession because of the serious injuries inflicted on him by the Hero Killer.
You are Bakugo!
Katsuki is a rude, arrogant, angry and aggressive person, especially at the beginning of the series. Katsuki tends to look like an anti-hero, and downright mean to those who don't know him. This problematic behavior goes back to his childhood when he was known to bully a youngster, Izuku Midoriya.
You are Ochaco!
Ochaco is kind and friendly to the people she meets, and will come to the aid of those who have helped her before. Because of her friendly and playful spirit, Ochaco is easily excited or surprised by small things and easily loses her temper. Her reactions are often exaggerated and humorous.
Sometimes Uraraka takes an extremely determined and rather intimidating attitude, which can surprise her classmates.
You are Tsuyu !
Tsuyu is a direct and relaxed person who always talks directly about her mind and what she thinks of others. Tsuyu prefers to be called "Tsu", but only by people she considers friends. She often refers to all those who have the honorary "-chan", except for teachers and other authority figures.
You are Izuku!
Izuku is a very shy, helpful and polite boy, often overreacting to abnormal situations with exaggerated expressions. Due to bullying for lack of an alter, he is initially portrayed as insecure, more reserved and non-expressive. These traits are particularly present with Katsuki, who constantly harassed him for his aspirations to be a hero.
You are All Might!
The All Might hero character seems to be derived from the stereotypes of comic book superheroes: colorful and full of dramatic flair. Always wearing a giant smile, All Might shows a brilliant, charismatic and welcoming attitude, capable of inspiring others and helping them feel safe and hopeful. He is extremely friendly due to his popularity and years in the spotlight, always taking his time to interact with fans.
Boku no Hero Academia tells a story of people dealing with their special powers – Quirks – in different ways. Heroes are the people who use their Quirks for good, helping society and stopping villains from endangering others.
The series focuses on Izuku Midoriya, a student of the top-ranking academy for heroes-to-be in Japan. Originally born without a quirk, Izuku’s bravery in the face of danger earned him the respect of Japan’s #1 hero, All Might, who passed his legendary power to the young protagonist.
Plenty of personalities combine and clash in the halls of U.A. High School. In Class 1-A, Izuku finds allies in Uraraka, a cheery, young woman with zero-gravity powers, Tenya, the stern class rep who has powerful leg enhancements, and Tsuyu, whose Quirk gives her frog-based abilities.
Izuku is beloved by his friends and classmates for his selfless, down-to-earth nature. In sharp contrast is Katsuki Bakugo, an ace student primed with a fiery temper to match his powerful Explosion quirk. Overconfident and brash as he is, Katsuki is admired for his determination to be a great hero.
There’s quite a cast in Boku no Hero Academia, and the show really lays out the spectrum of how different personalities would use their quirks for good or evil, and these powers are usually a reflection of the characters themselves.
Shoto Todoroki, for instance, is Izuki’s serious classmate. His quirk allows him to wield both fire and ice-based powers. He inherited one of each power from his parents, but due to a conflict with his father, he dislikes using his fire abilities. His half-and-half nature can be seen in his looks and temperament; initially cold and aloof, he learns to warm up to others over time.
Another interesting character is Fumikage Tokoyami, whose quirk allows him to control a powerful shadow creature. He is portrayed as somewhat weird, tending to go into periods of quiet brooding and giving dramatic speeches, although this doesn’t detract from his consummate work ethic. To strengthen his quirk, Fumikage trained in a dark cave despite the risk of being overpowered by the creature.
Other young characters, like villains Toga and Shigaraki, offer a glimpse at how power corrupts personality, while Pro Heroes like All Might, Nezu, and Recovery Girl act as role models for how the strong must defend the weak.
Given your own quirk, which of these BNHA characters will you be most like? Whose personality matches your own? Please comment down below, and share your result with your fellow BNHA fans!
FAQ Boku no Hero Academia Characters
Are Izuku and Katsuki friends?
Izuku and Katsuki used to be childhood friends, although their relationship soured as the success-driven Katsuki began to bully Izuku for failing to develop his own quirk. Despite Katsuki’s hostility towards him, Izuki continues to perceive him as his friend, calling him by his old nickname, Kacchan. Izuki’s sterling progress in U.A. High School has earned Katsuki’s begrudging respect, and recent chapters have shown them steadily developing a friendly rivalry.
Is Shoto Todaraki emotionless?
For most viewers, Shoto can come across as emotionally distant and troubled. Due to the abuse he suffered at the hands of his hero father, Endeavour, he prefers to keep his feelings to himself. He uses his studies as a method of distraction. However, the series later shows Shoto warming up to the rest of his classmates, indicating he has become more comfortable with them.
Is Ochaco Uraraka smart?
Ochaco is typically portrayed as laidback and air-headed, but she’s actually a diligent and observant character. She’s shown to be committed to studying for the sake of her parents. She’s also pretty empathetic, having a knack for reading people’s emotions. To top it all off, she’s extremely frugal with her money and often devises ways to save it.
